Anna is the Founder of Savouring the Indo-Caribbean. She currently works for a non-profit driving strategy impact and managing enterprise initiatives. She is the founder of Merge Project Management and Leadership (Merge PM&L), a technology project management consultancy supporting organizational-wide strategic technology initiatives and implementations in the non-profit and entrepreneurship space. Anna currently lives in Toronto, Canada after immigrating with her family from Guyana at a young age. She’s the founder of Savouring the Indo-Caribbean, a digital platform that aims to support a thriving Caribbean community through positive representation, dialogue, community collaboration, advocacy and cultural education. She’s a Steering Committee member of the Indo-Caribbean Organizations Network (ICON), an organization aiming to serve the Indo-Caribbean community in unique ways through charitable and philanthropic initiatives such as fundraising, clothing drives and empowerment events. She’s a writer and co-author of various books, including “Blooming Through Adversity”, “Two Times Removed: An Anthology of Indo-Caribbean Fiction” and “Two Times Removed 2: An Anthology of Contempory Indo-Carbbean Stories”. She’s the writer at Conscious Womaning, a platform and blog aimed to empower readers towards our highest potential. For her professional, community and passion work, Anna was listed on the Peak's Emerging Leaders list for 2024, which highlights young leaders shaping Canada's economy, culture and society within the Social Impact Category. She was a nominee for the 2021 and 2022 Women of Influence RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneurship Award. She’s passionate about intentional leadership and social issues, and has spoken, hosted and facilitated various conversations through various events and programs, such as Conscious Leadership with Women of Project Management (WoPM). Anna is a lover of food, hiking, travelling and anything that allows her to be creative.

Savita Prasad (she/her/hers) is a Guyanese-American first generation student residing in New York. Her passion for social justice led her to work with many nonprofit community organizations centered on underserved communities. Combining storytelling to promote healing, she explores gender justice for women and nonconforming individuals, intergenerational trauma, mental health, anti-blackness, and colonialism. Using her spare time, she researches Indo-Caribbean history to connect the dots to issues that plague the community today.

Devin Ramoutar is an Indo-Caribbean entrepreneur with one goal in mind; revolutionizing the world of Indian & Indo-Caribbean Instruments. He is the founder of SangeetStore2.0, an online platform showcasing the most unique Instruments in the World. Miranda is Guyanese / British / American, originally from NYC and currently residing in the suburbs of Georgia, happily married and raising 2 little Guyanese kiddos! She is a graduate of Boston University and now a 20+ year Marketing Executive, climbing the ranks to become CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), recognized as a “Woman to Watch” and featured in the Top 40 Under 40 lists by MM&M (Medical Marketing & Media). She is currently responsible for marketing strategy and brand development for one of the nation’s leading academic health systems. Toronto born and raised Nalini is passionate about ressurecting and ensuring her Guyanese roots continue to grow for generations to come. Nalini's colourful career includes many years in the Film and Television industry and Supply Chain Management. She now uses her creative skills and experience to design and develop her own jewelry line, Sassy Sheek. Nalini is a proud contributing author to Caribbean anthology, Two Times Removed Vol. 2 with her story, "Sunday Afternoon Cookup". She has left her mark blogging for a few websites and is no stranger to face to face interaction. Nalini is currently working towards becoming a stronger, fluid and inspirational writer and speaker as a fresh voice of Indo Caribbean women.

Born & raised in Canada with strong Guyanese roots, this proud mom of two is as passionate as she is in purpose to community building and healing, past, present and future. A recent post-graduate and avid social worker, Shabeda is dedicated to important conversations such as: mental health, ancestral & holistic healing, spirituality, and preservation of our cultures in all aspects of life. A social justice advocate, Shabeda strives to bring light & honour to topics that deeply affect our communities in bridging the gaps for further inspiration, exploration, and celebration, both at individual & collective levels.

Author of the children’s book “Eva My Nani-Ji”, Djamil Ninsoo known affectionately by his social media handle “DouglaBwoy” is an Afro-Indo Jamaican cultural advocate. An anthropologist by major and passion, Djamil’s mantra is “Education through Representation” and he utilises his platform to promote and educate others on the richness of Jamaican culture, history, and heritage with special note of the contributions of Indentured Indians.

Sherry is a 1st generation Canadian, born to a Guyanese mother and Guyanese/Chinese father. She enjoys researching her Chinese ancestry, and has located various family members along the way. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English. Currently residing in New Jersey with her husband and daughter. She has worked in finance for 17 years for a Fortune 500 company. . .
