how we does carry on....
Savouring the Indo-Caribbean (admirably known as Savouring) started as a modest Instagram page in 2021 and grew into a community organization that went beyond anything that founder, Anna Chowthi could imagine. Savouring went from sharing fun and educational posts about Indo-Caribbean foods to an organization with volunteers who create educational content, execute events and foster community engagement.
As a team, we aspire to embody the values and characteristics of our ancestors: adaptability, ingenuity and generosity.
We're committed to providing opportunities for our Indo-Caribbean community to learn, grow and thrive. We do this by:
